What We Do
You can find us at C/Mataró 25-27 in Cardedeu. Ofrecemos servicio en todo el territorio. We offer advice and aboriculture services.
Our services are aimed at both public and private entities. We have worked on repair jobs in the gardens of Santa Clotilde in Lloret de Mar and in the Gardens of the Royal Palace in Barcelona, among others. Also documenting our work are the jobs performed for the governments of: Cardedeu, Granollers, La Garriga, Ametlla del Vallès, Lliçà de Vall, Terrassa, etc. We are a unionised business with the Gremio de Jardinería de Cataluña (Catalonia Landscape Union).
Notable among the services we offer are:
HIGH-RISE WORK: With the use of the proper safe techniques and well trained professionals, we can do high-rise tree jobs, even though they cannot be reached with assisting machinery, such as baskets and boom trucks. The work can be done with control so that no property is damaged. Pruning, felling, jobs to stabilise treetops or any other kind of intervention needing to be done. A tree is a living being with needs and life expectancy often limited by our fears or manias.
TRABAJOS DE DIAGNOSIS: DIagnosis is often necessary to determine the cause of a problem and to decide an effective action. Diagnosis and analysis might be needed to determine the agents causing disease or sickness as well as to assess the degree of danger in the break or fall a tree might present.
TREE MANAGEMENT: Trees are a heritage. Any heritage requires maintenance. Tree management allows scheduling all the work for caring for the tree. From the planning, the selection of the right species, planting, training and maintenance up to its replacement 100 years from now. Good management means a good tree population with low upkeep costs and whose full potential we can enjoy.
STUMP REMOVAL: Stump removal is often times a necessary job. Manual removal is a very difficult and costly system. Some of the reasons that lead to stump removal are: - Replacement of the tree that was cut down by another new one. - The stumps look unattractive. - To reduce the danger they represent for pedestrians in paved areas or green areas. - To avoid stump regrowth. - Paving in the area where the tree used to be. - To make maintenance tasks easier when mowing.
Our goal is to remove stumps successfully without damaging the surrounding area, obtaining a clean, easily manageable waste product and without investing more effort than necessary to do this job. Parks, walkways, replantings, etc. In the usual stump removal method with an excavator, there are new inconveniences, such as the cost of managing the waste and the cost to repair what has been damaged.
TRANSPLANTS: Transplanting is the last recourse that should be used to safeguard a tree specimen. It is delicate, costly work, and one where many factors come together at the same time. When transplanting, such varied factors come into play as: species, location, type of soil, time availability, size, distance to the place of planting and characteristics, etc. Success of the transplant is not always guaranteed. There are various transplant methods, such as the most laborious manual, traditional procedure and the procedure with heavy machinery (transplanters). Technical innovations allow for the transplanting of really large size trees.
LANDSCAPING: Landscape work includes laying out the the area to make it more pleasant to our senses and needs. A garden is not just an adornment; a good garden is defined by the good use that is made of it. A good garden requires a personal design in which the user is the one who defines his needs for the design and upkeep. What would our cities be without green spaces?
Among the factors influencing the preparation of a garden are:
- Uses and utilities. - Who it is meant for. - Area sizes and characteristics. - Determination of the different spaces. - Style, materials and elements that will make it up. - Climate and natural limitations such as: water availability, soil features, soil availability, time availability to devote to maintenance. - Execution time period. - Later upkeep (budget and time available for maintenance:). - Economic limitations (what budget has been set aside for construction)
When putting all these aspects together, it is apparent that constructing a garden can be more or less complex.
